Our story
Przedsiębiorstwo Produkcyjno-Handlowe Korurs started its activity in Warsaw, its founder was Stefan Korycki. Originally, the main subject of activity of the company was production of parts for Ursus tractors C-330, C-360 and C-385.
Opening of a large production branch in Sokołów Podlaski. This moment is a turning point in the company's activity. The decision to purchase the former POM caused a big qualitative leap and raised the company's development opportunities to a new level. Moving the basic part of production to a new, larger plant had a key impact on the possibility of intensifying production activities, improving efficiency and increasing processing capacity.
The newly opened unit could already boast of technology based on the first numerically controlled lathes - the Polish TZC and TUR models, as well as horizontal and vertical milling machines for cutting toothing in gears as well as toothed and splined shafts. Employment in Sokołów Podlaski reached about 150 people.
Korurs started the production of parts designed for the assembly of Bizon combine harvester, produced by Harvest Machine Plant in Plock. Korurs started direct cooperation with foreign producers of spare parts for tractors and farm machines. So far PPH Korurs has been working with Czech and Slovak producers specializing in the production of spare parts and assemblies for farm tractors.
Company extended its offer with spare parts to the following farm machines:
- Rotational mower
- Manure spreaders
- Soil miller
Assortment of products was enlarged with spare parts to Zetor and LKT forest tractors.
As a result of the still increasing offer of spare parts for tractors and farm machinery, PPH Korurs moved its commercial activity to new facilities, including office buildings and warehouses, located in Warsaw.
PPH Korurs started cooperation with Fabryka Ciągników "Ursus" and in a short time became the main partner of Ursus, especially in the production of heavy tractors. The cooperation lasted until 2010 and concerned the supply of subassemblies and parts for drive axles and gearboxes based on our own construction and technological documentation.
Following the dynamic growth of the company, Management Board and the Commercial Department were moved to a modern office and warehouse building in Warsaw, at Gierdziejewskiego street, which fulfils the most recent standards of customer service and spare part storage. The company's headquarters is located at this address until today.
PPH Korurs received a certificate confirming the introduction and application of a quality management system within the range of production and sale of specialized parts and subassemblies for tractors and farm machines, according to the requirements of norm ISO 9001.
In order to meet the quality requirements of parts delivered for the first assembly, the MP700A three-axis coordinate measuring machine was started to be used for electronic measurements in the quality control department. This enabled even more precise production, down to thousandths of a millimetre.
PPH Korurs was transformed into private limited company by contributing the entire organized enterprise into a newly established family company under the name Korurs Sp. z o. o.
Taking advantage of the good economic situation and wanting to meet the growing needs in the field of spare parts, the company continuously invested in the supply of modern specialized production machines, including CNC.
In 2008, more than a dozen such machines were purchased, including 6 CNC machines - 3 new numerical lathes and 3 new vertical milling and drilling centers as well as other machines and special devices used at various stages of the production and logistics process.
Korurs Sp. z o. o. completed the implementation of an ERP system, which covered areas such as Logistics, Sales, Finance and Accounting, and Fixed Assets. In addition, the software has been extended with a module from the CMS family - Xpertis Customer Service. The company's development activities were focused mainly on improving the efficiency of operations by integrating the IT system and increasing the availability of the company's offer and improving communication with customers.
Implementation of the Customer Service module made it possible to launch an Internet portal for regular customers. Customers have remote and easy access to the company's full offer, stock levels, prices of goods, history of their accounts and settlements. They can see the status of their order, and therefore know at what stage it is. Importantly, they can also view photos of the items in the assortment they are interested in.
Korurs Sp. z o. o. expanded its commercial offer with radial and diagonal agricultural tires, industrial tires, inner tubes, protectors as well as wheel rims and discs, thus becoming one of the main distributors of Kabat, Mitas and Cultor agricultural and industrial tires and the sole distributor of Trayal tires on the Polish market.
Despite its established position on the market, the company is constantly trying to develop and increase its capabilities so that the technology used in Korurs Sp. z o. o. was synonymous with quality and reputation. Therefore, Korurs decided to continue investing in CNC machines.
This allowed to increase the range of products with a particularly important group of flywheels for agricultural tractor engines. Their production was launched, among others, on 2 new Vertical Turning Centers, equipped with many innovative solutions, significantly improving the quality and efficiency of machining.
The company carried out the renovation and modernization of production buildings. The warehouse for semi-finished products and details during machining has been moved to the newly built part of the hall. This improved the organization of storage and optimized the course of production processes and its quality. Further workstations were located on the acquired area of the plant, thus increasing the production potential of the plant.
The company celebrates its 25th anniversary. On this occasion, the company organized a jubilee meeting attended by over 150 people from companies cooperating with Korurs Sp. z o. o. - both domestically and internationally. Today, Korurs is a valued manufacturer and distributor of spare parts for tractors and agricultural machinery.
The company can be proud that from the beginning of its activity it focused on high-quality machinery and investments in numerically controlled machines, which enabled the production of products with the highest precision and accuracy.
New distribution channels are still being developed through specialized courier companies DHL and SCHENKER. This is reflected in the dynamic increase in the number of orders placed by customers.
In order to meet the logistical challenges and streamline the shipping process, company decided to replace the technical equipment of the warehouses. Devices of the proven Toyota brand were purchased, including forklifts and pallet trucks. The warehouse space was increased thanks to the installation of new racks for storing goods.
The company continues the process of implementing new details and extends its product range. Therefore, a decision was made to invest in more machines. In order to develop the optimal technology for the machining process of the newly implemented assortment items, the plant was equipped with Hyundai Wia machines, including an additional Vertical Machining Center and Horizontal Turning Centers for efficient, large-scale production of smaller-sized details.
Korurs Sp. z o. o. was increased by another 5 trucks: three VOLVO FH and two Renault Trucks HIGH. This investment made it possible to secure internal logistic processes in the company and to deliver goods directly to customers. Despite the availability of other solutions on the logistics services market, own transport provides flexibility in planning the processes necessary for the operation of the company.
Korurs Sp. z o. o. celebrates its 30th anniversary and enters the fourth decade of its activity on the market of tractor and agricultural machines parts in Poland. The priority of Korurs Sp. z o. o. is to constantly improve the quality of products as well as the accuracy and precision of production.
In order to meet the emerging challenges, Korurs decided to increase the expenditures for improving technology and production processes. It was possible to achieve this goal thanks to the supply of modern CNC machines from renowned manufacturers. The plant was equipped with another 5 CNC machines of the latest generation - 3 horizontal high-performance heavy turning centers with a max. turning length 1320 mm and turning diameter 560 mm and 2 vertical machining centers, including the largest 4-axis drilling and milling machine with a 1500x700mm machining table and the ability to process workpieces up to 1300 kg.
